HOW TO ORDER
Finding the right piece of jewellery to honour a loved one can be a daunting task with so many variations to choose from.
In this section we have included simple instructions to help you to navigate our site and to make ordering just that little bit easier for you.
STEP 1 - Choose your memorial piece.
Click or hover over our menu tabs on the top of our Homepage and choose a product type that would suit you, from RINGS, PENDANTS, EARRINGS, KEYRINGS ETC. You can scroll through the items available until you find your desired item.
Each product listing will have a series of drop down boxes to fill in including colours, name of loved one and sizing options etc. If you'd like to view the colours, these can be found by scrolling through the images on each listing. At the end of the images you'll find our colour chart, you can choose your colour from here and write it in the 'colour' section on the listing.

Additional information can be written to me under the 'name of loved one' section.
This allows you to type up to 500 words if you wish to leave me additional information or notes whilst ordering, for example: a story you'd like to share or extra colours you'd like included or detailed descriptions of how you'd like your final piece to look.
When ordering your chosen piece you can select to have an encasement kit sent to you, this includes everything you need (as well as instructions) to send your encasements back to us safely. We also include a ring sizer so you can let us know an accurate measurement of your finger, if you were previously unsure of your size.
STEP 2 - Add to cart. Once you have your jewellery item/items added to your cart, please proceed to your basket and checkout with your preferred method of payment.
Once you have ordered we will post you your encasement kit within 48hrs of purchase by 2nd class stamp.
When your encasement kit arrives back with us in the studio we will send an email to notify you. From this point it will take approximately 8 weeks to create your piece and post it back to you, along with any ashes or hair we do not use.
Please note the 8 week turn around time is an estimate time only and when working with something so bespoke and precious patience is very much appreciated. Additionally if you have a specific date you'd like us to meet please contact us prior to ordering (using the contact button below) and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MEMORIAL JEWELLERY
What happens after my ashes arrive?
We understand how precious your loved one's ashes or hair are, which is why every order is treated with the utmost care and respect from the moment it arrives.
Once your parcel has been safely delivered to our Hampshire studio, we'll send you a confirmation email to let you know it has arrived safely. Depending on the time of delivery and our workload, this is usually sent the same day or the following working day.
Your ashes or hair remain securely packaged and individually labelled throughout the entire process. Every order is carefully stored and organised until we begin creating your jewellery.
When crafting your piece, we only ever work with one customer's ashes at a time. Before moving on to the next order, all materials are carefully packed away and our workspace is thoroughly cleaned, ensuring there is never any possibility of ashes being mixed between customers.
Once your jewellery has been completed, every remaining grain of ashes or strand of hair is carefully returned to you with your finished piece, no matter how small the amount remaining.
How much ashes or hair do you need?
We only require a very small amount.
For each piece of jewellery, around half a teaspoon of ashes or a small pinch of hair is usually all that's needed. In many cases, this amount is enough to create several pieces of memorial jewellery, allowing multiple family members to have a treasured keepsake if they wish.
Any unused ashes or hair are always returned with your completed order.
Can memorial jewellery be worn every day?
Yes, the majority of our memorial jewellery is designed to be worn and enjoyed every day.
We use a premium UV resistant resin that is extremely durable and designed to remain beautifully clear for many years. Your jewellery can safely get wet during normal everyday wear.
To help keep your jewellery looking its very best, we recommend removing it before using strong chemicals such as perfumes, moisturisers, hand sanitiser, household cleaning products or while showering and swimming. These products can affect the finish over time.
Some of our designs feature pavé-set stones. While these settings are beautiful, they are naturally more delicate than plain settings and can be more susceptible to stone loss if knocked. This is true of pavé-set jewellery from jewellers worldwide, not just memorial jewellery.
Where applicable, we state this on the individual product page and recommend these particular designs are worn for special occasions rather than every day.
Every order also includes detailed care instructions to help you enjoy your jewellery for many years to come.
How long does memorial jewellery last?
With the correct care, your memorial jewellery can last a lifetime.
Each piece is handcrafted using quality precious metals and durable materials, designed to be treasured for generations.
Like all fine jewellery, your memorial piece will naturally benefit from a little care and maintenance over the years. To help keep it looking its best, we also offer a recoating and repair service should your jewellery ever need refreshing or repairing.
Our aim is to create a beautiful keepsake that you can cherish every day and pass on for years to come.
Can you use hair instead of ashes?
Yes. We can create beautiful memorial jewellery using a loved one's hair or fur, either on its own or combined with ashes, depending on the design you've chosen.
Can I include more than one person's ashes?
Yes. We can carefully combine the ashes of two or more loved ones into the same piece of jewellery if you wish. We can also combine ashes with hair or pet fur to create a truly personal keepsake.
Can pet ashes be used?
Absolutely. Our pets are cherished members of the family, and we create many memorial jewellery pieces using the ashes or fur of much loved dogs, cats, horses and other companion animals.
Will I be able to see the ashes in my jewellery?
This depends on the design you choose.
Some pieces are designed so the ashes are beautifully visible within the setting, while others have a more subtle appearance where the ashes are blended into the resin for a softer finish.
What happens if my parcel doesn't make it to you?
We recommend sending ashes using Royal Mail Special Delivery, which provides tracking and insurance for valuable items.
In the extremely unlikely event that your parcel is delayed or lost before it reaches us, Royal Mail's tracking service allows the parcel to be investigated. Once your ashes arrive safely at our studio, they remain securely stored until your jewellery is completed.
Can my jewellery be resized?
We tend to stay away from resizing rings once they are made as the heat on the metal and the change in composition can affect the intergrity of the resin and ashes stones.
If you're unsure of your ring size before ordering, we can send you a ring sizer with your encasement kit.
How long will my order take?
We handcraft every piece to order, so our turnaround time varies throughout the year.
Our current estimated turnaround time is shown on our website, and we'll keep you updated throughout the process.
Is my jewellery waterproof?
Your jewellery is perfectly fine to wear in everyday life and can get wet.
However, to keep it looking its best for many years, we recommend removing it before swimming, showering or using strong chemicals such as perfumes, cleaning products and hand sanitiser.
Can I order matching jewellery for family members?
Yes. Many families choose to have matching memorial jewellery created from the same ashes, allowing everyone to have a special keepsake to treasure.
How do I know my loved one's ashes won't get mixed up?
We understand this is one of the biggest concerns families have, and we're proud of the care we take. We only ever work with one family's ashes at a time. Each order remains individually labelled throughout the entire process, and our workspace is cleaned thoroughly before the next piece is started. This ensures there is never any possibility of ashes being mixed between customers.
Who will make my jewellery?
Every piece is made by Lucy in our Hampshire studio.
From receiving your ashes to creating your finished keepsake, every stage is completed by Lucy with the same care, respect and attention to detail that we would want for our own family.
